Diversified Exteriors has provided quality roofing, siding and gutter installations throughout Chester County, Lancaster County, and surrounding counties for over 20 years. We strive to provide the highest level of craftsmanship combined with unmatched customer service. Our office, showroom and warehouse is located on Route 30 in western Chester County, 1.7 miles west of the intersection of Route 30 & Route 10.

In 1979, Galen Smoker formed Diversified Roofing Company.  The company operated out of a converted barn adjacent to Galen's home property. With outstanding customer service and attention to detail, the company steadily grew.  Diversified Roofing Company installed many types of roofing.  Vinyl siding and various gutter installations were also part of the scope of work at the time.

Through the 1980's the company grew from just a few men to over 13 by the end of the decade.  Diversified built a solid customer base throughout central and southern Chester County and continued to expand into other areas. In 1998 Matt Hershey began working at Diversified Exteriors and is currently the vice president.

By 1990, the expanding company outgrew their facilities and a new property was purchased along Route 30 just east of Gap, PA.  A two-story office complex and connected warehouse were constructed to meet the needs of the business.  In 1991, the company moved to its present site.      

In that same year,  a new name was chosen to better reflect the scope of work of the company.  Since the company performed more than just roofing installations, the name was changed to Diversified Exteriors, Inc.   With the continued high demand for quality roofing contractors, Diversified focused on residential re-roofing.  Siding installations are still performed by the company; however, they remain a small percentage of the overall business.

The primary focus of Diversified continues to be residential re-roofing.  We are able to complete any roofing project, large or small, with competence and  courtesy.  We specialize in cedar, standing seam metal, rubber, and fiberglass shingle roofing systems.  Diversified also provides expert siding installations as well as various types of gutter installations.

We also continue to service our customers with nearly any type of roofing, siding or gutter related repairs.
